मॉनिटर क्या है? कितने प्रकार का होता है और क्या होता है? सीआरटी, एलसीडी और एलईडी मॉनिटर के बारे में विवरण।


मॉनिटर क्या है?
= मॉनिटर वह पार्ट्स है जो कंप्यूटर सिस्टम के साथ टीवी जैसा दिखता है। मॉनिटर कंप्यूटर सिस्टम का एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण आउटपुट डिवाइस है। इसे डिस्प्ले डिवाइस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। कंप्यूटर पर हम जो भी कार्य करते हैं उन्हें इस मॉनिटर के माध्यम से देखा जा सकता है, इसलिए मॉनिटर को विजुअल डिस्प्ले यूनिट कहा जाता है।
मॉनिटर अलग-अलग साइज में आते हैं जैसे- 14 इंच, 15 इंच, 17 इंच, 19 इंच आदि।

मॉनिटर कितने प्रकार के होते हैं?
= रंग प्रदर्शन के आधार पर मॉनिटर्स को दो श्रेणियों में विभाजित किया जा सकता है।
1) मोनोक्रोम मॉनिटर (Monochrome Monitor), 2) कलर मॉनिटर (Color Monitor)।

* वर्तमान में मोनोक्रोम मॉनिटर का उपयोग शायद ही ध्यान देने योग्य है। अब हर जगह कलर मॉनिटर का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।


1) मोनोक्रोम मॉनिटर (Monochrome Monitor) = इस प्रकार का मॉनिटर केवल सादा-काला चित्र प्रदर्शित करता है। वर्तमान में मोनोक्रोम मॉनिटर बहुत कम उपयोग होता हैं।

2) कलर मॉनिटर (Color Monitor) = इस प्रकार का मॉनिटर कलर इमेज को डिस्प्ले करता है यानी कलर मॉनिटर पर हर तरह की कलर इमेज देखी जा सकती है। इस प्रकार के मॉनिटर के माध्यम से किसी भी प्रकार की असीमित रंगीन छवि प्रस्तुत की जा सकती है। इस प्रकार का मॉनिटर आरजीबी मॉडल में काम करता है यानी लाल, हरा और नीला इस मॉनिटर के मुख्य रंग हैं।



* कलर मॉनिटर आमतौर पर तीन प्रकार के होते हैं :  CRT, LCD, LED


* CRT Monitor = CRT का फुल फॉर्म कैथोड रे ट्यूब (Cathode Ray Tube) होता है। इस प्रकार का मॉनिटर काफी हद तक पुराने टीवी जैसा दिखता है यानी इसका पिछला हिस्सा काफी बड़ा होता है। छवि प्रदर्शन क्षेत्र पीछे की ओर बहुत बड़ा होने के कारन समग्र मॉनिटर का आकार बहुत बड़ा है और बिजली की खपत अपेक्षाकृत अधिक है। CRT मॉनिटर में इलेक्ट्रॉन गन का उपयोग करते हैं। तस्वीर बनाने के लिए गन द्वारा कैथोड रे ट्यूब से इलेक्ट्रॉन उत्सर्जित किए जाते हैं।


* LCD Monitor = LCD का फुल फॉर्म लिक्विड क्रिस्टल डिस्प्ले (Liquid Crystal Display) होता है। इस प्रकार के मॉनिटर पतले होते हैं जिससे एलसीडी मॉनिटर सीआरटी मॉनिटर की तुलना में कम जगह लेते हैं और कम बिजली की खपत करते हैं। विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी की प्रगति के साथ, इस प्रकार के मॉनिटर हर जगह देखे जा सकते हैं। एलसीडी मॉनिटर में मुख्य घटक के रूप में लिक्विड क्रिस्टल का इस्तेमाल होता है और (TFT) टीएफटी यानी Thin Film Transistor (थिन फिल्म ट्रांजिस्टर) तकनीक का इस्तेमाल होता है। हालाँकि, LCD मॉनिटर की छवि CRT मॉनिटर की तरह स्पष्ट नहीं होती है। 


* LED Monitor = LED का फुल फॉर्म लाइट एमिटिंग डायोड (Light Emitting Diode) होता है। एलईडी मॉनिटर एलसीडी मॉनिटर की तरह दिखते हैं, यानी एलसीडी की तरह, एलईडी मॉनिटर पतले होते हैं और कम बिजली की खपत करते हैं, और हल्के होते हैं। इस मॉनिटर में मुख्य घटक के रूप में डायोड का उपयोग किया जाता है।



* याद रखना चाहिए
  • मॉनिटर एक आउटपुट डिवाइस है।
  • मॉनिटर को विजुअल डिस्प्ले यूनिट कहा जाता है।
  • मॉनिटर अलग-अलग साइज में आते हैं (जैसे- 14 इंच, 15 इंच, 17 इंच, 19 इंच आदि)।
  • मॉनिटर को दो भागों में बांटा जा सकता है। मोनोक्रोम मॉनिटर और कलर मॉनिटर।
  • कलर मॉनिटर तीन प्रकार के होते हैं। (CRT, LCD, LED)
  • CRT का फुल फॉर्म कैथोड रे ट्यूब (Cathode Ray Tube) होता है।
  • LCD का फुल लिक्विड क्रिस्टल डिस्प्ले (Liquid Crystal Display) होता है।
  • LED का फुल फॉर्म लाइट एमिटिंग डायोड (Light Emiting Diode) होता है।
